Word Searches (back to top of page)

The Word Search searches for your target word in the key fields of the database, including: the title; the publisher’s synopsis; the educari review, and the user review.

You can type more than one word in the word search box. For example, typing ‘road cycle’ will give you a list of resources that have both these words included.

Quick Searches (back to top of page)

The Quick Searches allow you to search easily for resources that meet particular criteria (for example ‘Key Stage 1’ resources, or ‘free’ resources). These searches are independent of, and unaffected by, any text in the Word Search box. Note that you can only search on one criterion at a time (for example. you can’t search for resources that are both ‘free’ and for ‘KS1’)

Viewing details of a resource (back to top of page)

The searches will bring up a list of resources matching your criteria (if there are no resources that match, you will be told). This list is organised alphabetically by title in pages, with six resources listed on each page. You are told the number of pages returned by your search, so you will know roughly how many resources match your criteria. You can navigate between the pages using the page links at the top and bottom of the list.

The list gives basic information about each resource. To get more information, click on the title of one of the resources. This will take you to the complete details for this resource.

Note that a particular resource may not have all the detail boxes completed. For example, many resources are not explicit about what Key Stage they are designed for, so the Key Stage field will be blank. Not all publishers have provided a synopsis of their resource, so in some cases this field will be blank.

We have reviewed a number of the resources, but we haven’t written reviews for posters, stickers, etc. Please note that the educari reviews give the professional opinion of educari, and are not in any way to be construed as the view of the Department for Transport. (See also the general Disclaimer for this website.)
